ACT Test Dates
Juniors and Senior are encouraged to register for the ACT. The ACT test is used by colleges for admission purposes and also to place students in courses. Students should plan on taking the ACT at least twice. Please see the attached flyer to register for the ACT.
College Fairs

College Fairs will help you find the right fit!
This fall, EducationQuest Foundation will sponsor statewide College Fairs and Educational Planning Programs (smaller college fairs). Don’t miss this opportunity to visit with representatives from colleges across the state, region and nation.

College Fairs will be held during September and October in Norfolk, South Sioux City, Scottsbluff/Gering, Grand Island, Lincoln, and Omaha. See the College Fair article at EducationQuest.org for dates and locations. Educational Planning Programs (EPPs) are slated for communities throughout Nebraska. See Upcoming Events at EducationQuest.org to find the event nearest you.

Register for a barcode!
If you plan to attend a College Fair or EPP, register for a barcode that will streamline your visits with college representatives.

Here’s how it works:
  1. Before you go to a College Fair or EPP, visit NebraskaCollegeFairs.org and select the event you plan to attend.
  2. Complete and submit a confidential online form providing details such as contact information, age/gender/ethnicity, year in school, academic information, extracurricular activities, and ACT/SAT test scores.
  3. Print the barcode that appears on your screen.
  4. Important! Take the barcode to the College Fair(s) and/or EPP(s) you attend. College representatives will scan your barcode to retrieve your information – and you won’t have to complete information cards.
For more details about College Fairs and college planning, visit EducationQuest.org.
